Pepper Ridge Elementary School was established in 2004 with a mission to provide top-quality educational opportunities for students in kindergarten through the fifth grade. As one of Southwest Boise's leading elementary academies, Pepper Ridge consistently sees students perform above the state average in math, reading, English and science.
Pepper Ridge Elementary aligns with the West Ada School District's values of preparing students for tomorrow's challenges by providing a safe and supportive learning environment where dedicated teaching staff can inspire students to achieve academically and become lifelong learners.
Sitting just south of Pepper Ridge Park, the campus offers various resources for students to enjoy including a music room, library, gymnasium, cafeteria and computer labs. The school also maintains two playgrounds and a recreation field. Students and parents enjoy the hands-on lessons the teachers provide here which include comprehensive studies of nature, American history and STEM-based math and science projects. The school also offers a G.A.T.E. curriculum for gifted and talented learners.
Parents are welcome to participate in the active parent-teacher organization that provides volunteer opportunities and school fundraisers throughout the year.
