Roosevelt Elementary School is at the corner of North Elm Street and East Jefferson Street, in the heart of Boise's East End neighborhood. This community academy has served kindergarten through sixth-grade students since 1920 and, since that time, has improved its facilities to include better lighting, carpeting and outdoor shade, as well as a modern library, full kitchen and resource room. Comfortable amenities and exciting extracurricular programs keep kids engaged. The highly anticipated Dr. Seuss Week brings whimsical characters to life to foster a love of reading.
Roosevelt Elementary School's mission is to provide a learning community that fosters a safe and supportive environment, partners with parents to encourage their children's education and uses the latest research-based teaching methods that promote achievement.
