GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Boulder universal has been an incredible experience for me. It has allowed me to take so many opportunities that I would have been unable to take had I been in person. I wish they would do more to allow the students to get ahead. I am often unable to get ahead when I need to because they only have one week of work released. They also only offer the standard classes. If one need to take a advanced class or a language other than spanish they have to use Florida Virtual instead. Boulder universal also needs to do a better job offering help to students suffering from mental health issues. They often will not move-work around or will just say oh well when a students grades drop.

I like that the teachers and staff value communication. It really helps to clear up any confusion! I don't like how they don't offer AP classes with teachers in state.

There wasn't much offered, they want to get you out of the system more or less.

My daughter absolutely loves Boulder Universal. It has given her the opportunity to structure her learning and her time to her own needs. She has been at BU since her sophomore year, and is graduating a semester early! Our experience with instructors, staff, advisors and counselors have been great -...

I am really happy at how well my son is thriving through Boulder Universal. He needed an alternative to the basic high school experience, he needed counselors who would listen to what his goals were and support his learning style, who would support him as a person and a student. Interestingly he has...
