It was fine, not great and not bad. Football games were fun and there was a lot of school spirit. Tenured teachers could be not great people or teachers because they knew they wouldn't get fired, not cool.

I would like to see more diverse groups and clubs for people of color. The campus has many clubs and organizations however , organizations for students of color there is a lack. I would also like to see the promotion of HBCU's. A lot of African American students are unaware of institutes that promote black excellence.

Manatee High School was alright. I made some great friends, however the school does little to nothing about bullying that I've seen. On top of which, some of the staff hyperfixate on minor issues as opposed to addressing the constant drug use and poor staff attitude bent on making student life irritating simply because they had a bad day.

AWFUL!!!! Students with IEP are bullied by teachers and teachers do not follow IEP steps put in place. Instead a child or parent have to remind them almost BEG them to give the help needed. Any child struggling will definitely fall through the cracks.
