This is a amazing high school because everything i would dream of in high school was provided by the school and they help student that are in need of help.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. This school is good when transitioning from Junior High school. There is ZERO tolerance for bullying and any student related issues the staff takes very seriously. You have to ask the staff for many things if you need it, for instance with College prep or work. Overall Astor is a great school that prepares you for college, it provides the student's with a-lot of independency while making sure students do their work.

It's very easy to get to by train. Especially the five train, the school is just a couple blocks away from the station. The building has with four other schools along with astor. We have to rotate time for lunch and first period time every year, so for one year I had lunch in the morning. Most staff is nice. They don't really fix problems that kids have. I complained about something thats actually a safety hazard and they never fixed it. It's not the best school, but once you get used to it, it's not that bad.
