P.S. 10 Brooklyn Magnet School of Math Science & Design Technology is a public elementary school serving kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The school also serves Pre-K children at K280, also known as the Pre-K Center at the Bishop Ford School Site. P.S. 10 was part of the Magnet School grant program starting in 2000. Although the school is no longer a magnet school, its legacy lives on. The school philosophy is to learn more about the topic rather than focus on finding the correct answers. The school atmosphere reflects New York City's culturally diverse and rich demographics. Located in the Park Slope neighborhood at 511 7th Ave, students learn in an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with exceptional facilities and unique enrichment activities. In addition, students receive access to state of the arc facilities and high-quality technology. At P.S. 10 Brooklyn Magnet School of Math Science & Design Technology, there are a variety of enrichment activities. Students can join art, dance, and theater. Spanish classes are also offered through a weekly club for first through fifth-grade students. In addition, there are updated computers in the library and smart boards in every classroom at P.S. 10 and K280.

Our child decided they are non-binary at the end of third grade. When I suggested bringing in the Acker...

This school is a nightmare for parents of children of color. The administration allows bullying and intimidation to occur right under their noses because they are afraid to stand up to teachers and parents because of the PTA funding. Children of color at this school are often left out of most activi...

PS10 has played such a strong role in my children's formative years. It's a diverse, creative, environment where kids are given all the tools they need to explore th...
