I am actually a transfer student to New Utrecht High School. After freshman year, I transferred to New Utrecht High School (personal reason), but I have to say I don't regret/mind transferring here. The school has great teachers, classes, visuals/designs in the hallway, etc. Overall, the school is not bad and pretty nice.

My overall experience is that the teachers are very nice, but the school could use better security and could have better food options for the students

New Utrecht High school is a great school if you are in the honors classes and in some sort of academy. My experience has been good and since I'm in honors most of the people I met and became friends with are so sweet. That being said honors classes are usually the same faces for each class whether that is good or bad is up to the person you ask. I can't speak for the kids in non honors on whether they enjoy it but I definitely think that New Utrecht is a good school if you put in the work and dedication.

This school is terrible and refuses to take accountability for any wrongdoings that happen. They not only allow violence and assault to take place but actively cover it up. The teachers play favoritism and my child was taught during a lesson that vaccines cause autism. Parent/teacher phone calls go...

This school needs new leadership. They focus more on managing parent surveys than resolving the issues identified by parents. Zoom in a room in not in person learning. Students are herded in the gym instead of in classrooms. So there is an increased chance of spreading Covid.Overall, I would say tha...

My son currently attends this HS and it has been a great experience for him. He is an honors student and takes mostly AP classes. I think any child can succeed here if they put the effort into it and if they have parents that expect good grades and supervise them. The school is diverse and the teach...
