I did not like BIS at all. Every once and a while you would come across and good teacher, but overall most were uninterested and genuinely seemed like they didn't like kids. Not to mention the horrible job they do at preparing students for high school.

Burlingame Intermediate School is such a harsh and toxic environment full of stuck up, ignorant and rude white kids. Additionally, the teachers are all sub par and my whole experience there was truly a nightmare. The administration makes an honest effort to improve the quality of BIS but nothing changes and the school continues to be a waking nightmare. I recommend going anywhere else.

i hate this school because the bus lines aren't organized well enough and i get so much bruises all over my body and they don't heal because i get bruised from pushing every SINGLE day. the teachers don't care at all. The students usually dont pay and trash the buses. Majority of the kids say racist...

I noticed that the school often treated students differently based on race. For example, I saw teachers or staff siding with white students in conflicts and not giving the same fairness or understanding to students of color.
