GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I go to school 2-3 times a week. Sometimes 4. I receive packets that are equivalent to 1 unit per packet. Each time I finish the packet, I test on it. If I pass the test, I receive one credit and the next packet/unit. I love this school because all of the teachers are understanding. They have free field trips to Washington, D.C., Blackbird Farm, Colorado, and even Cuba. I have been to the Washington, D.C. field trip. I plan on graduating at this school sometime in May or June.

Options For Youth is an incredible school. They gave me opportunities I never thought I would get to have. The teachers are always there for you academically and personally to make sure you succeed. They truly care about you all around.

There are not many clubs or organizations to choose from. We just barely started sports.
