My experience at Castaic High School although it was short because of my freshman year being online they provided a lot opportunities for kids to become better academically wether it was office hours before and after school and an open classroom during school hours to go and talk about your worries. Thus aside from that I wish they had better math teachers. All the math teachers I have come across i found difficult sharing concerns on grades and never really helped during class time either.

I like that the grading system is more flexible than the typical grading scale because I feel like I can be more focused on learning than grades, but I worry that I will have a hard time adjusting to the grade scale in college because I got used to the ease of this grade system. I also like that the teachers have designated office hours so we always know when we can come see them, and I like that we can redo our tests. I dislike that I came to this school because of the no homework policy, but that this isn't followed by many teachers here.

It is an ok school. The teachers and staff could be more helpful but its alright. Very little of the students are kind and actually nice to others.
