JFK high school has been a great high school for my experience. When I got here, I didn't know much of how the world really worked, but through direct or indirect means, JFK high school has allowed me to see the world from a realistic perspective. The people and heart of this school is wonderful, with passion around every corner, to make up for Cedar Rapids's recent funding struggles. Overall a great experience.

Overall I enjoyed my four years at Kennedy High School. The teachers and staff were always available and helpful when I needed or had any questions. I challenged myself and took advantage of the offered AP classes .I also did a duel enrollment at Kirkwood college where I took college composition 1 and 2 during my senior year that was offered at the school. I really enjoyed the class and was grateful that it was offered at Kennedy High School. It gave me a glimpse of how college classes would be and transitioning from high school. Kennedy High school gave me opportunities and helped me prepare for my next education and going to college.

I have enjoyed my time with Kennedy. The culture and the sports are terrific! I don't think Admin always handles things the best which can be tough but they are receptive to feedback with is nice.

Kennedy is a good school but they lack an engineering program. Kennedy's partner school Jefferson has an amazing engineering program that offers a bunch of college credit. Kennedy needs to beef up there engineering program to get a better score from me.
