A referendum was passed and so a new security system is in place as of 2015. My kids don't have to go through metal detectors and most of the new security in place is pretty subtle. We have talked about it, and my Bluff Creek Elementary child feel 100% safe at school.

We get a Peachjar flyer sent home/online, so that we are not overwhelmed with paperwork marketing the extracurricular activities. There are arts, sciences and athletic options on an on-going basis. My son goes to daycare after school, which is open until 6:00pm, so most of the after-school activities don't work for us, as they end at 4:something.

Kindest most supportive school faculty I’ve ever encountered! This school was exactly what we needed! The community was amazing & so welcoming! The principal Mrs. Holm is just the kindest person ever. The school is also newer with more resources!!! Do NOT go to Chan elementary.
