Established in 1966, St. John Eudes is a private coeducational Catholic school located at 9925 Mason Avenue in the city of Chatsworth. The school is a fully accredited Western Association of Schools and Colleges and enrolls approximately 280 students serving transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. The mission of St. John Eudes is to provide students with a quality Catholic education and guide them to live the principles of Catholicism by becoming productive leaders and responsible citizens within the community. Students are taught to become self-directed learners who are able to collaborate with their peers in a respectful manner.
Home of the Eagles, St. John Eudes provides core classes in religion, math, science, technology, language arts, social studies and physical education. The school also offers classes in the fine arts with a focus on the history of art, music class and Spanish. The school boasts a dedicated science lab, study lab and offers multiple afterschool enrichments classes including robotics, chess, keyboarding and more. In addition, St. John Eudes sponsors Interscholastic sports teams for football, basketball, softball, volleyball and swimming. Students can participate in student council, yearbook, community service projects as well as enjoy numerous field trips. St. John Eudes provides daily prayer, weekly Liturgies, retreats and masses are prepared by each class.

We choose this school for the family atmosphere and caring nature of all it's staff and parents. The school not only focuses on academics but more importantly character building. My husband and I believe a good solid caring character will carry our son throughout his lifetime as a successful adult.
