My experience over the past 7 years has been great. As the principal/7th & 8th grade home room teacher I have seen great improvement in the moral and academic performance of all the students. This school should've closed down years ago. Education is weak and performs relatively weaker from the past student generations that came here. Very Very Low transfer rate into Selective Enrollment. This is an amazing school. Many of its graduates go on to enroll in selective enrollment high schools like North Side College Prep, Lane Tech, and Whitney Young. Terrible. I have never felt the way I was made to feel on a day to day basis while in contact with these people. Bullying is not taken as seriously as it should be.
