Oakmont has been such a wonderful experience for our family. I think the school doesn't get enough credit compared to other schools in the district. The school campus is large and focuses on the outdoors. Teachers are very nurturing and engaged with their students. The PFA does a wonderful job to br...

Not a good learning environment. Lack of responsiveness. Bullying. Poor communication. Annual turnover of principals and all careless Bad test scores. The worst school in CUSD . A lot of green new teachers who are careless and work for the benefits and to educate our kids …. Sadly but true

We love the small school atmosphere that Oakmont offers. The teachers and principal are always available when issues arise. Lot's of wonderful kids at this school as well. They don't offer much homework which is a plus or minus depending on how you feel about homework. Mostly reading and spelling.
