GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Clarkrange High School does great for the lack of resources it is given in the small community. Teachers are not flocking to this school, but the ones there try and make your experience as educational as possible. With the small town comes smaller budgets and smaller windows for technology opportunities. The principals do their best to make sure the teachers do everything they can to help the rural community.

Very outdated and old-fashioned. Not many teachers are adaptive to the new century. But there are plenty of kind and honest teachers that will go out of their way to help you where they can. Very easy to get along with and making friends with your teachers will make your high school years so much easier and happier.

Food is next to home-made. The lunch-ladies are always kind and generous with seconds. Food options are fairly limited, but most of them are great.

CHS is a very nice small school. The faculty and administration are very caring. This school has an outstanding tradition in atheletics and is recently gaining more attention academically.
