My best part of being a student at Clayton high-school was being surrounded by people and teachers who actually wanted to ensure I had a great future ahead of me no matter what the circumstances could've been. I'd also say my worst experience would probably be leaving since this is my last year.

Clayton High School overall was a good experience for Nehemiah. What was not a good experience for him was having multiple coaches within his 4 years there. This really hurt his recruiting process and hindered him in the area of athletic scholarships.

Clayton High School was founded in 1901, and it's age showed both in the construction of the campus and the rules that govern it. The buildings are in disrepair, yet covered up. They paint themselves in past glory (like their state championship in football), and ignore the needs of the students at the present. It felt like I was in prison every day.

My oldest, who has a high IQ was barely prepared for community colleg...

They've added metal detectors, refused to punish troublemakers in class, and we don't even have math books anymore. Do yourself a favor and make sure you pick a different school. I've had two kids graduate from here fairly recently and if it had been this bad when we first moved here I would've move...
