Named for the first elected governor of Puerto Rico, Luis Muñoz Marín Dual Language Academy serves 432 students in grades pre-K through eighth. Also referred to as Luis Muñoz Marín School, it supports cultural competency through its dual language model, expeditions, programming, curriculum and a range of athletics and activities.
LMMS is located on the west side of Tremont and is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. School leaders, administrators, teachers and staff work to promote career and college readiness with a rigorous curriculum. LMMS fosters student wellness through social-emotional learning activities and supports, physical education, recess and healthy eating.
The school follows a personalized learning model, where students and teachers operate under maps where they set individual goals based on performance, interests and learning styles. Students are exposed to educational technology to enhance and extend their learning.
Beyond the classroom, LMMS offers additional opportunities for students to grow. Intramural sports and activities are available to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Seventh and eighth graders can also participate in basketball and track and field. Extracurricular options include the book club, choir, rhythm band and dance.

The new principal is very disrespectful. People at the front desk is rude and it takes about 20 minutes to have someone open the door when coming into the school. Security guards are always on their cellphones, talking or just browsing. As soon as you enter this school you know something is not righ...

The school principal Mr Torres is very unprofessional! Totally ignored me as I was trying to express a concern and lied to me as I was trying to get answers in regards to my preschoolers classroom. Very disappointed!!

Well.. I heard there was A Twilight.. They should do that again next year :) And Next year they should put the 8th graders with the 7th graders together at lunch. :) It Would Be Great :) . Though I love this school.
