Established in 1904, St. Ignatius of Antioch Elementary School is one of the oldest religious private schools in Cleveland. Attached to St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Parish and conveniently located at the center of the West Boulevard neighborhood, the school currently serves around 300 students in the community, with a diverse enrollment.
The Catholic school, which offers a comprehensive, faith-based kindergarten through eighth-grade education, has a mission statement identifying academics, faith and service as its three educational keystones.
The primary school has had great success in high school preparation, with 90% of students accepted to their first-choice high school. Additionally, all of the schools' third graders have passed the Ohio Third Grade Reading Guarantee Test for five years in a row.
St. Ignatius of Antioch Elementary School offers numerous scholarship and tuition assistance opportunities to prospective students alongside exciting extracurricular programs such as choir, numerous sports programs and skiing trips. Additionally, St. Ignatius of Antioch Elementary School presents multiple musicals throughout the school year, including an all-school Christmas pageant.
The school's alumni association is particularly robust, with a large number of active members available to help current students achieve their potential through charitable donations, tutoring, mentorship and more.
