My son next enrolled in the area high school IB program. I feel the middle school was not /could not be sufficiently academically rigorous to really prep students for 4 years as an IB student. My son rarely did homework during middle school.

I would choose this school again because there are no better middle schools and because the band teacher is very, very good (especially with middle school students). This school funnels students to Districts IB program, if the student qualifies. My son's music teacher for band was fantastic.

Would not recommend at all I have had a family members child out into the choirs closet because of “acting out” simply send the student to the office you don’t put them in closets!!!

I feel as though my child has had many fine opportunities at Mount Garfield.

I dont feel like they gave some of the students the attention that they needed. There are students that require extra attention and I feel like the staff wasnt willing to get those students where they needed to be. Being a teacher is much much more than being an employee.
