GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm not exactly sure if I could rate and review my school with just stars because I feel like they are too restricting in terms of actually rating. However, I wasn't the type of person to actively do extracurricular activities but it seemed liked everyone else who did them, did enjoy doing the.

West Lauderdale High School provided me with a safe environment and many teachers who would go above and beyond to ensure that their students succeed. However, I wish the school would look more into its teachers who do the bare minimum and have their students leave as if they learned nothing.

The best and worst experiences I've had have been in the classrooms. The best experiences came from my sophomore and junior year science classes and my worst experience came from my freshman year English class.

Our first year at WLHS has been positive in academics, social-emotional, and overall well-being for a high school student.
