I started high school in 2021 when I just came to the United States. I started as a freshman, and it was really hard for me because I just moved to the United States and did not understand English very well and I also did not have any friends. I did not like the fact the students go smoke in the bathroom and other student bring bullied because they from African. but letter on when I was a junior the school changed a lot of stuff which helped the school a lot. like security was added, before entering the school your checked like in the airport, if any student is reported for bullying, they will get expel and there is no fighting anymore. it's always clean now. and the teaches are super supportive. the school lunch is also improved and there are a lot of games to play in classes when we have nothing to do. it is well developed and safe to be there.

Independence high is a great school with good and hardworking teachers who try's their best to see that the student is doing well in their academics.

It's a kind of crazy school, but it you can make it through it. I would only recommend it if you just wat to get high school over with. I mean like if you got a strong head.
