GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Honestly my experience wasn't the best yet not the worst either. The school conditions are quite bad to be honest but the actual classes are good. The teachers are nice and understanding with you most of the time. We also go to college so we get credits before other highschool students which is pretty good. I'd say my experience here is 4/5.

I loved my 2 years at Compton Early College. The staff are very supportive. We have access to college courses. The teachers are very caring and provide great material to help us understand what we are doing.

Compton Early College Highschool is different from others because it provides students with college level courses, which prepares them for college. However, CEC is in need of a bigger campus. The school also needs to work on their scheduling considering the previous mixups there has been. Nonetheless, CEC is a good college prep school.

My experience at Early College has been a roller-coaster, by that I mean I wasn't always so confident in my abilities to do well at this school but in the end Ive learned new material, showcase my potential and thrived as a student.
