Small class sizes and excellent academic program. My son's third grade class is far advanced than kids in the same grade level who are enrolled in other catholic schools in the area and other public schools (Walnut Creek and Mount Diablo public schools). The teachers are caring and care for the well being of the kids. Academics is good but the best part of having my kid in Wood Rose Academy is the value formation. They build character and enhance the value and virtues needed by children to become better adults in the future. Go visit Wood Rose Academy and see how blessed we are to have our kids in WRA.

I agree with a previous comment that if you address any concern with the school they will treat you differently. Over the last academic year, I have presented (what I believe) valid concerns with the preschool director: (1) children playing in a wet sandbox in 40 degree weather and sending kids home...

I drove by and parked to check out the school. There were children running around in the parking lot. No gate to protect the kids from cars driving in/out of the parking lot and no supervision. It looked like an outdated campsite. That expensive tuition is surely not going to the improvement of the...

Kids are not treated fairly. Education is not their priority. They ostracize anyone who speak out against unfair treatment towards the children.

I love teaching here. We get to teach the Catholic faith in a way that fully conforms to the teachings of the magisterium, and because it is a classical school there is a whole lot more depth to each subject.
