Positive but wish there was more support in college preparation. Teachers are nice but don't always have resources to help students in the best way possible. Faculty's need to be updated.

it was gross. there were so many problems with the school. they needed to put more effort into the food adn extra curricular activities such as theater and arts. They were not able to provide enough teachers and some had to take on extra roles.

Gibbs high school provides me with a great experience during all four years of my high school career. I was able to join marching band while enrolled here, and this provides me leadership skills necessary for an actual job later on. I enjoyed the science and art departments, but the English and math departments lacked good teachers and materials needed to succeed. I would like to see more money put into the hands on classes, mostly health, and less into sports.

Gibbs High School is not the best school for parental involvement and communication, but it is better than it's neighboring school Halls High School. In my opinion, the atmosphere at the High school is a direct reflection of the effects of busing our kids to the inner city for middle school.
