Gibbs high school provides me with a great experience during all four years of my high school career. I was able to join marching band while enrolled here, and this provides me leadership skills necessary for an actual job later on. I enjoyed the science and art departments, but the English and math departments lacked good teachers and materials needed to succeed. I would like to see more money put into the hands on classes, mostly health, and less into sports.

I love Gibbs high school for a plethora of reasons. The community is great and extremely welcoming, and the teachers make their students safety their #1 concern. They strive to make everyone feel welcomed at this school, and it houses a vast variety of different students.

Gibbs high school covers up and dismisses sexual assault against students. I was assaulted three times and was asked if I was flirting with him. The JROTC department is particularly egregious in their handling of sexual assaults. They do not remove accused students from positions of power nor do the...

It's really hard to continue to instill the values I've worked hard to instill when I have no reinforcement from the authority figures in their life away from me. The amount of drama and physical fighting might be a result of the lack of support and good influences in our offices their at Gibbs. To...
