After reading the other comments left on this website, I wholeheartly disagree. I have never had an issues with staff and I do not know about you but if a staff memeber is "rude" about letting a parent in or allowing pick up then I always want a "rude" staff member at the front desk! The worst school in Newton County! The staff is rude, the teachers are lazy and do mediocre work. They do not really want to see the kids advance; meaning, if your child is more advanced than others in the class they still have to wait on the other kids. Worst school ever. Half of me thinks this school should be investigated for cheating but if that were true I dont know why they never reach their AYP. We moved my son to another Newton Co. school where they did testing to see where he was academically. At Porterdale he scored slightly above his grad...
