Opportunity echoes through the halls of Arrupe Jesuit High School, a Catholic high school with a college preparatory curriculum serving students in the Denver area. Arrupe Jesuit opened its doors in 2003 and has graduated 15 classes since then. Located in the thriving Berkeley neighborhood, the school partners with 90 businesses in the community to offer a popular Corporate Work Study Program. This program allows students to build a resume and acquire real-world experience while earning up to half their tuition. Students are supported and encouraged in every step toward success. Arrupe Jesuit High School boasts a wonderful college and career readiness program, with many students becoming first-generation college students upon graduation. As important as academics and work experience are, Arrupe Jesuit High School believes in a holistic approach to education. With an athletics program, fun clubs and student organizations, it’s easy to get involved at school. The average student can run track in the spring, write for the Atticus Literary and Arts Magazine and serve the community with passion through the Generals for Justice program, all within the same school year. Every student also participates in the school’s annual Day of Service and completes a Senior Service Project during their final year. With the core values of faith, community, opportunity and leadership, this Denver Catholic school is a great educational option for students in the Berkeley neighborhood.

The best thing about Arrupe Jesuit High School is the Corporate Work Study Program. The worst part is not being able to go and eat during lunch. I would change the dress code.

Arrupe Jesuit High School has been a great school that supports its students for their future. I have always had a helping hand and witnessed the teachers be my cheerleaders. Are there challenges in the school? Yes, however, they do always get addressed, and nothing the student body can't overcome. While AJHS is a very academic-based school, it offers many clubs where we can get involved. Arrupe Jesuit boosts me and lets me go into my future feeling confident.

My overall experience at Arrupe is great because we get to experience professionalism by getting sent out to work once a week for a job of our interests. Also, my experience is great because since it is a small school everyone is united and has really good leadership skills. Lastly, they show us to be men and women for others and that helps us to step up and be leaders and be more independent. Overall my experience is awesome so far at Arrupe.

I graduated in 2009. I will admit that I didn't take my studies very seriously and made those decisions on my own that affected my grades and test assessments. This school does not prepare students for college. While they tout all students get into college, most do not end up going, and those who do must take remediation courses due to the poor academic content offered by Arrupe.

Worst private catholic school ever! They come out as caring and college oriented, but in all reality not all students make it to a 4 year college.
