Since opening its doors in 1926, Lake Middle School empowers and celebrates a culture where students can learn, evolve and strengthen their character so they can positively impact their communities. Lake Middle School has a variety of offerings for students in grades six through eight with different needs and interests. The school has classes that are dedicated to helping students prepare for the Denver Public School Seal of Biliteracy. Classes include Spanish language arts, Spanish language social studies and Spanish as a second language. For students interested in athletics, Lake Middle School offers opportunities to participate in basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball, cross country and tackle football. For other extracurricular activities, electives include band, choir, physical education, STEM, visual art, Spanish, drama and more. Students also receive free healthcare at the Denver Health school-based clinic. Dedicated Gifted and Talented programs, academic intervention and robust English Language Development programs are also taught by licensed staff members of the school. With extensive classes, afterschool clubs, activities and academic tutoring, Lake Middle School strives to make each student a priority.

My friend said that this school has great teachers and support, my mother continues to sag it is not a good school, I high doubt that considering that my friend has all As and isn't depressed anymore

Outstanding school with great teachers and tons of resources for all levels. We are in our 3rd year and the school counties to achieve great results and improve Year over year.
