The best thing about Animas is freedom. Whether you are in math, Spanish, or advanced engineering, you can tailor your own learning experience. This is because the school is built on principles of advocacy, student-teacher relationships, and critical thinking.

I had an enjoyable 4 years at Animas. I felt like I was able to grow as a person and student during my time there. I'm not a social being so it's hard for me to rate the school culture. I think it was fine but it could have been better or worse than I let myself realise. There aren't sports teams outside of the biking team but it fits with the culture at Animas. There is a great range of clubs and activities to be apart of if you don't find one that fits you but you still want to be involved you can pitch the idea to start your own club if you get an okay from the school. If you do come here or just take a tour it's hard not to find something you enjoy.
