Definitely has some good teachers and some bad like every school, however when there's a teacher that gets many negative feedback from students, staff are reluctant to do much. Security guards are also not that much involved when fights break out, and academics are decent. There is less higher end classes available compared to nearby schools.

Overall, Cosumnes Oaks is a really nice school and I'm glad I went. The teachers were nice and the community there was also really nice. I found my place in the VAPA department and made lifelong friends there. The food there could have been better and the safety could have also been better, but nonetheless a good school.

I think that COHS is a very competitive school to go to, with many cool teachers that greatly prepare you for college. Most AP teachers have very good pass rates for AP exams, a clear sign of how ready most of our students are for college, and our college admissions are reflected as such.

I’ve been in this school ever since Freshman year, believe me it’s not what you think. The office staff are very disrespectful. Some of the teachers are very snappy and impatient, or they just don’t care enough for the students. I’m now in my senior year and I’m honestly not prepared for anything an...

Knowing what I know now, and seeing my daughter's progress in a different local high school, I would not have sent my learning disabled son to Cosumnes Oaks High School. I recommend that other parents of learning disabled students look elsewhere as well.

Cosumnes Oaks High School is an amazing school. The teachers are great, they really show that they care for you and want the best out of you. If you are struggling they most likely will help guide you in the right direction. The campus is very nice and for the most part very well maintained. They ha...
