Its a good school to get your education at. I'm a high school senior here, and I love the school, its small enough to know almost everyone, but big enough to have enough diversity.

As a student who graduated in early 2020, I'm basing this solely off my experience and not what has happened after (EHS from what I've heard is in a rough transition period right now, as I assume most schools are). EHS is what I'd describe as an average school for an average country-ish town. Only thing I think that separates this school among others are the sports program and the test scores, which in the past have been pretty great for a school like this. Things that hold it back in my opinion are college prep and campus safety. While the ASPIRE program and the administration itself tried as well as they could, as a community college student I don't think I could have been as ready as the school thought I was. I also think this is a school that needs to work on social interaction between students, as classes had a lot of cliques that clashed often. Teachers at the school were fine, but it was really a 50/50 shot sometimes as to if you would get a teacher you would actually like.

Elmira is an all-around average school with average problems. In my experience, it's a very small school that puts the vast majority of its focus into its mediocre football team, and allots very few resources toward the actual wellbeing of its students and staff.

Good school but we have lost so many electives. Our kids need a core education but they need variety to make them well rounded people in life. I appreciate the staff, they do a great job. The rest of the community needs to realize they can not keep voting down bond measures and expect things to impr...

I am a student at Elmira. I love this school, all the teachers are awesome, and though I wish there were more academic oppertunities I understand that the buget cannot afford this. I admit that I am biased because I go here but I really do like it. GO FALCONS!!!!
