As being a senior at Escondido High School, I was a transfer my 10th grade. Through the process the school was welcoming and had safe rooms like the wellness center where I found the first place to be comfortable. It has been a safe place for me for the past 3 years. As for admin they are very supportive and will help get you resources, as I needed deeply when I was struggling with depression and anxiety. Overall Escondido High is a good school. I wouldn't say its the best in the district but overall I believe it made a purpose for every person.

Escondido High School helped pave their way in showing that college is a possibility for us. They offer services and help for those who may be unaware of college deadlines such as applications and FASFA and go as far as taking you out of class to make sure your applications are being submitted. EHS was and is a great school as long as you return the energy they are supporting you with.

Throughout my 4 years at this high school I have participated in a variety of clubs and sports and got to know a lot of teachers with both being good and bad. For one I like how this school really takes into consideration to our safety at our school being able to make us feel safe is a big part because we do not wanna feel at danger while trying to have a better education. Their are also very supportive teachers and administrations that are open to students with family problems or just having a bad day. They are also very college motivated giving the students the support and encouragement to motivate students to go to college. Not only that but their are a wide variety of extracurricular activities that students can get them selves involved based on their interests.

This school assigns homework to students, expecting them to do it over the weekend. TOO MUCH HOMEWORK! Give these kids a BREAK! My kid will NOT do the homework. Shame on these teachers.

First week and a half has been wonderful. The counselor spent a lot of time with us and got my son the exact classes he wanted. There are a lot of gang members there so he transferred to honors classes and that solved that problem. They say a lot fewer drugs here than at San Pasqual where he attende...
