Bobcat pride runs strong at Felicita Elementary. Since first opening in 1980, the public K-5 elementary school has been committed to providing students with a quality, challenging and collaborative education, all with a strong dose of school spirit. Felicita Elementary works to build well-rounded students every step of the way. Through special programs like the Bobcat News Team and Maker Space Nights, students learn how to work with 21st century technology, preparing them for an ever-evoling future. And thanks to a partnership with the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy, students are able to give back to nature, fostering an understanding of our ecosystem and our role within it. But it’s not just extracurriculars that build a sense of community. As a core goal, Felicita staff help foster a culture where good behavior is the norm, with a rewards system that helps encourage positive contribution to the learning environment. And the system has paid off. As of this year, Felicita Elementary has the highest attendance rate in the district, and students seem to love coming to school every day. Felicita Elementary makes learning an engaging, community-led task. For a truly supportive environment, send your students to Felicita.

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
