If your child has a IEP run away from this school. I have never had to fight so hard for minimal help. You need to pay close attention and make sure they are getting help. They will fight you on any kind of testing. We are thankfully moving . If your child has medical needs beware they haven't called me for issues with my child when I've asked many times. My son broke his tail bone and told his teacher she made him sit down for the rest of the day he came home and it was black and blue.

Summit has been wonderful for my son for five years (pre-k to 3) and my daughter for two years. They love going to school and learning.

It's so true Summit is very political. You'll be fine if you don't question authority. Counselor is a joke as well. If you're an underdog you'll be fine. Summit is a great school IF you have an inside connection, meaning you babysit for one of the teachers kids.
