I love the staff at Mendez. The teachers are extremely helpful and push you to be the best you can be. I really love how many sports and clubs and extra curricular activities there are at Mendez for students to join and get involved.

There are so many chances to be a leader at this school. The students have a lot of control in clubs and some electives are student-run. This school has a rich Hispanic culture. We have Mariachi and Folklorico. Once the students had a fair and learned how to get the donations needed to run it. The fashion show had student-made clothing. The fair had booths made from the student's ideas.
