Rio Vista Elementary is a neighborhood school and part of the Fillmore Unified School District. Located on Edgewood Drive close to Rio Vista Park, the school has about 460 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The student-to-teacher ratio at the school is about 23-to-1. The Fillmore Unified School District offers free summer enrichment programs for students in English and Spanish. Week-long classes are open to students who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade, and children can choose from a variety of topics including cooking, art, science and sports.
