The best part of Florence High School is the people you get to meet and the activities you can do. Another thing that makes the school great is how helpful the teacher and that they are really there to help the students succeed.

I like how diverse the High School is and how they try to get everyone involved. I have been attending Florence High School since I was a freshman. However, I have been living in Florence for my entire life. I went to Anthem K8, kindergarten to 8th grade. So, I basically know everyone just from living in a small town.

This school is not what it was a decade ago. Academically Florence isn't as good as they make it out to be and are starting to fall behind Poston and even San Tan. Teachers keep leaving every year for other high schools, classes FHS says they're going to offer get cut at the very last second forcing me to switch my entire schedule up when the school year starts, and most of the classes I do get to take are embarrassingly easy. The school's unofficial motto: if you are bound for a four-year university and not CAC/the workforce right out of HS then you're pretty much on your own. Food is meh but I've heard from fellow students about it being terrible. Sports at FHS aren't too bad, although for the past eight years only girls' cheer has been able to get even remotely close to a state championship, winning it three years in a row. Overall, while I don't think it's the absolute worst HS in Pinal County, I'm highly anticipating graduation next year so I can move out of here ASAP.

Worst school ever. Some of the staff are very unprofessional and bully individual students. When you ask a question via email, you get back a very rude response.

Florence high school is a terrible school. The academics aren't that good and all they care about is football and cheer. The teachers and staff in general don't care about their students. There have been MANY instances of staff wrongly accusing students of things they have not done and punishing the...

Our school is a great school, only A-Rated school in Pinal County 3 years in a row! Our athletics are great and the atmosphere is even better.
