At John Bowne, I loved the diverse community and programs but struggled with heavy rules and restricions. More leniancy and better facilities would help

John Bowne is a school with a lot of diversity and amazing staff. The majority of the teachers will constantly push you to do your best hoping to see you thriving in the future. However, John Bowne needs to work on student involvement when it comes to clubs and expanding the number of clubs offered. I also think there are parts of the school that can be updated or renovated.

The agriculture program is the one I was part of, possibly the best program the school offers. The best science course I had were here and so many on hand activities as well as trips and resources to colleges.

I am a current Junior in the former Doshi, now STEM Science Research Program. All I can say is that it takes every student to get used to the High School environment, especially in a school like John Bowne. Again, everybody is different, therefore one cannot generalize.
