I came to Fort Lee High School at the begginng of my Junior year. My guidance counselor did such a great job in welcoming me to the school and showing me around, she was always there and made time for me whenever I had any questions. The school is pretty good academically, they offer some interesting classes in different fields of study. I don't think our school spirit is outstanding because we're also not that great in sports. Overall, my expereince at Fort Lee High School was pretty good, people are nice, classes are bearable, extracurricualrs are okay, and most of the teachers and staff are very welcoming and do care for their students.

Our high school offers a lot when it comes to academic opportunities, like AP classes and the IB program, as well as several others. It's something unique to Fort Lee, but the lack of assistance and funding the sports team receive leaves a lot to be desired.

I did not attend Fort Lee High School for all 4 years. I transferred to Fort Lee High School during my junior year. For the time that I was in Fort Lee High School, my overall experience was pretty different. Fort Lee High School was very inclusive, active in the community, and more, however, they did not like to try many different things. I would like to see the diversity change. I loved being surrounded by different cultures, but it tended to sometimes make me feel less than.

As a classmate of Tara Hintze-Lawlor, I want to give her this as a guidance counselor being that I knew her growing up: I have never dealt with, known or covered a more inexorably conceited, condescending, factually wrong, name-dropping, dissent-intolerant, megalomaniacal, pompous, boastful, hypocri...

Teachers are nice. Main problems come from guidance counselors and admin. Some of the guidance counselors do not care about students at all, and show extreme favoritism. This school does nothing about bullying and harassment even with several witness reports from both students and faculty.

It is concerning to see that school leadership does not provide quality teaching materials for teachers and hold extremely low expectations for students. The school does not have strong math, technology curriculum. The future jobs are in those fields and doubt that the school is equipped to prepare...
