GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Former teacher; this place is a dumpster fire. Administration is inept, corrupt, and criminal. Students are wild, unchecked, and held to zero consequences. Parents are uninvolved, drunk, and aggressive. Most teachers and staff are inept, angry, and entitled. I could write a book about the wild stories I have from working in this building. If I lived in the district, I would send my children to private school

Franklin High is an overall pretty decent school, there are many good classes offered for people who want to be challenged and get ready for college. It's super important to have a good teacher; some are great, they really engage and want to teach but some don't work so well with students. Having close friends is key too, as some people are mean at school.

It has been an amazing time at FHS for me. All the teachers have been super helpful and outgoing. They really do care about each student and are willing to work their hardest for them. I love the school spirit that we have as a school overall, showing up to many of our school's games and supporting our teammates and classmates is always a very inspiring experience because it shows the power of a school community and how strong it is when it comes together.

My son went to school here, and while he wasn't the most diligent of students, he received an exceptional amount of support for four years. The teachers were genuinely concerned for student welfare and academic achievement and reached out (usually by email) to update parents on classroom activities....

I went to FHS for my freshman year. While i was there i was viciously hate crimed mentally and nearly physically. I brought this to the officials who TOLD US THAT WE COULD TRUST THEM and they made me look like the person to blame. Because I a member of the LGBTQ have mental issues and cannot make co...

Franklin Schools are thanked often by the town for "doing so much with so little". It's a shame because generations of families have raved about the opportunities afforded to their kids because of the public education they received in Franklin, but many of us frear those times are becoming a thing o...

I had to leave the school due to bullying that the school would do nothing about. A lot of the teachers are awful. The students are out of control. Lots of work to be had on this school, because it's a VERY nice building, but the atmosphere is irresponsible.
