The band class was fantastic here. We were able to practice at the beginning of the period and once in a while learned new songs. Then once we learned the notes for the music piece, we performed during lunch or at an event, according to the will of our music teacher.

I remember that safety was the number one priority and there were a few situations were the school does well. There was a police chase around the perimeter of the campus and the security and staff told all students to run in the classes immediately.

When I went there we had some good teachers who cared, but that was in the early 90s. In fact some of the best teachers I had up until college were from there.
