I would say my overall experience was great. The teachers being the best part, some the most caring and understanding teachers I've ever had. I felt safe, I felt comfortable, I felt understood, I felt confident. School lunches, were even that bad, could've been better, but not bad. The school was clean and organized.

HHHS is overall pretty okay, it's just a lot of people there start unnecessary drama and some teachers don't even take the necessary actions in order to stop it. There was this one instance where I had got into it with one of the dudes in my class and it blew up into this big thing because all his friends joined in on a hate train while not even knowing the whole story. It got bad to the point where they tried locking me in the classroom with them while they formed a circle around me and my other friend (it was literally at min. 10 of them surrounding us) as they were harassing us. This all took place while our teacher was literally right in front of me witnessing it all and didn't do a single thing to stop them. I didn't even get so much as a sorry from the students or teacher. Hunter Huss is definitely not the perfect school and very cheap but despite all the bad I was able to make some good lifelong friends who I cherish very much.

I moved from New Jersey to North Carolina and it was a difficult transition but Hunter Huss made it even better. Huss was a good choice for me because we are a career acdemy. They have many choices to choose from. In my experience from taking JROTC, Foods 1 &2, Yearbook and being apart of student government they can have a positive impact on your life & future . Huss has many opportunities to give to our students. The teachers are literally the best well the ones i met. I love the positive environment that the teachers have on the students.

Only High school in gaston county that offers the IB program, Huss is given a bad reputation because of the apartments that are located near it, some not even being in Huss district.
