The school doesn't make sense at times and the administration is bad in certain ways and a lot of things aren't fair and not allowed but overall sometimes fun and also it's not safe during winter when it's snows because it's an open campus and it's very dangerous with ice around.

At germantown high school there are a lot of good and bad experiences. With Germantown high i would say the best part to me was the fine arts which is what they are known for. I myself was a theatre and choir kid and it was the best experience. Only bad experience would be how administrators shut a lot of fun activities down.

My overall experience with Germantown High School was very interesting as far as engagement with students. The teachers were not very authoritative in classrooms as far as pushing the students. The atmosphere was very chaotic and annoying. Humankind has the ability to be very selfish and small-minded. I believe its the schools duty to open up a mindset for the kids to be exposed to different activities. As well as opportunities for success and especially at home the need to have great mental stability. Bullying happens often in high-school as far as with young adults who are very confused in life. I believe the truth of life and the value of money needs to be taught more in school. Germantown was a great way for performing arts but lacking in the push to help young adults succeed in the real world in my opinion. According to my experience it served justice for the three years I attended. The necessary change that needs to happen is in the staff to better communicate with the students.

I really thought this would be a great school for my kids but it have turned out to be the worst school they have ever been to in Shelby County… it is taking them forever to send my kids records to their current school which is keeping them from being enrolled..they always have a attitude in M build...

Horrific, this school is one of the worst in the city. Don't let AP and IB classes fool you, most kids won't even pass a single exam.
