Houston high school has always been a great school for me because overall all my teachers have been very helpful and caring of class. All of the admin have been very straight with the rules and how they enforce them. Just some situations were I don't think they have made the very best decision in punishing people and how they handle the whole situation from a students's point of view

The best part by far is the education. I can thank Houston for being such a big part of me succeeding and getting into college. One thing I would like to see change though is the administration. I think they can be a little more understanding and hands on with the students.

So far, in my 3 years spent at Houston High School, I have found that where it may physically lack, the spirit and community compensates for it. I'm thankful to be apart of this community that feels so prideful about the generations of families in this school.

We moved to Germantown for the schools, and had one daughter (freshman) go to Houston High and the other (senior) the Germantown Online Academy. Two vastly different experiences. Our senior in online program - fabulous. Houston High was a terrible experience for our 15 year old who made great grades...

This school isn’t for African American children! The principals don’t respond to emails. My daughter had a terrible experience here. She was bullied because of her hair texture and glasses. No diversity and the children who are black have been around white people so long that they act like them too....
