Campo Verde High School was my first experience with an American high school in the United States, and I can confidently say: my junior and senior year (in progress) at CVHS have been one of the best school years I have ever experienced throughout my academic life, and for that I have the lovely staff and people from the school to thank. Once starting my junior year at my new school, I quickly found myself as a part of the communities in the school, and soon made multiple friends that I still hold a tight bond with till this day. To my displeasure I did face people who made unwarranted and vulgar comments towards things that make up my identity, the most reoccurring one being my Hispanic ethnicity. Although I don't wish to discredit the low tolerance for such comments at CVHS, the re-occurrence of such comments does make me crave for a change about all stigmas and hurtful comments surrounding any group of people.

Throughout my soon to be four years at Campo, I've had mostly great teachers and the diversity of electives to take really helped me find myself.

Overall, I have had a fairly good experience at Campo. There is a lot to be involved in, and all the clubs and activities have been by far the best part of my high school experience. The music and arts department is very good, and we have won many awards. However, the bathrooms are not very clean and a lot of things are broken, such as the mirrors, stall doors, and sinks. The printers in the library also break a lot. But overall I think that for a public school it's pretty good.

I've had nothing but a rough experience at CVHS. Being bullied the entirety of HS wasn't very fun. But the only thing worse than that was the lack of empathy or care from administrators. I personally do not think Mr. Dumas does a good job whatsoever, as our school has so many flaws it's hard to look...

Campo Verde is dedicated to the students and creating a diverse and engaging learning environment. The Staff at Campo are hands down the best High School staff in GPS. Mr. Dumas cares about the teachers and faculty which is then reflected in the teachers' classrooms and their teaching.

he school just isn’t as good as everyone makes it out to be. Mormons run the school and it’s obvious, from the Trump shirts to the random laws about no caffeine being sold on campus. Certain teachers are nice whereas most are unqualified and barely teach. There’s a college level teacher who loves to...

Campo is great for the student who wants more control over their academic experience. Counselors are experienced in adjusting the standard course load to allow for a student’s individual needs, allowing auditing, self-study, and concurrent enrollment. Students are prepared well by the teachers for A...
