Dedicated to cultivating positive relationships with all students, Patterson Elementary serves more than 500 children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade in the Gilbert Public Schools District.
As an A+ School of Excellence winner, Patterson succeeds in nurturing well-rounded students who can grow academically and creatively. Most notably, students here earn test scores in reading and math well above the district and state averages and help the school to often rank in the top 20% of all elementary schools in Arizona.
Like at other schools in the district, Patterson embraces enhanced learning with music, arts, library and physical education, and further integrates an award-winning Digital Citizenship Curriculum to prepare students with the skills they’ll need to thrive in the 21st century. To help every child succeed at their own pace, the school also offers special education and gifted programs.
Outside of the daily class schedule, students can also explore a wide range of enrichment activities including art, beginners sports training, chess, dance, music, LEGO engineering and fun science programs, among other offerings.
To keep students engaged, Patterson Elementary hosts fun events Like book fairs, cookie dough fundraisers and holiday get-togethers to make everyone feel Like a winner every day.

It is an elementary school; there was nothing very unique about the facilities. The outdoor campus is aesthetically pleasing and the library is a great resource. Everything else is just average.

I really cannot complain about my time at this school. I really only had one teacher that I was not particularly fond of, but even then I still managed to enjoy the year. Teachers, staff, and students were all very friendly and approachable.
