I took many of the AP courses and would highly recommend them if you are planning on going to college. Most of the AP teachers are very good and you get to build a bit of community along likeminded students. I also recommend joining a club or sport.

I have been attending Copper Canyon High School for all four years of my high school years. I would say my experiences have been mostly good. All of my teacher have been nice and really helpful but there are three who really stand out, they are my sophomore year geometry teacher and my two junior year algebra 2 Teachers.

Overall in my opinion I've had some of my best highschool years here at copper. Despite transferring out I'm able to say I missed the whole atmosphere. Transferring taught me that there is no place like copper and with a Hispanic background I feel right at home. Great culture over all great school.

Poor leadership hurts this school as good teachers keep leaving because they aren't supported. The principals have their favorite teachers and students who can do whatever they want, but they don't seem to care about the rest. Lots of money is poured into athletics, but the teams still suck. My daughter graduated from here in 2022, let me just say that they have no regards to your child's safety and fails to keep the campus safe. When my daughter was in her senior year a gunman was on campus looking for a student. My daughter told me that she was able to leave campus whenever she wanted...

Meh, the curriculum as well as the school activities and athletics are sub par and below standard.
