GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am going into my senior year at Gloucester High School. I have made some amazing connections with my teachers and other students and feel Gloucester has prepared me for my life. It does have some downsides though. We are current renovating which makes going to school difficult. There are also some behavioral problems with students though I believe that has nothing to do with the school itself. Overall I love my school abd believe it has prepared me for the best.

As a junior at Gloucester High School, I feel as if there could be numerous changes to how the school functions. As of right now our school is undergoing construction which can be overwhelming for many students. There are always rumors going around about fights and the school ground is not secured enough to feel safe in your everyday learning.

it decent. I mean its better that not going to school at all but its ok. most of the teachers are nice but in the past ive seen some staff watch as i get called names. but they do give students positions to figure out what they want ti do after high school.

Counselors don't listen to the parents or students at all, at least the one assigned to us. Some students are given preferential treatment. Whe...

I graduated from this school and now have children who attend. I left Gloucester due to the military and came back because of the strong community. There was never any other choice for where I’d settle down. Pleased to have my own children graduate from here and call it home. Administration, teacher...
