Not everyone is the same on how they deal with certain situations, but my overall experience with GHS has been great and I believe that is due to me staying involved in clubs and sports.

Administration is great on handling issues if brought up to them. However if it's not then they tended to ignore most of the issues at hand. Right now it is a complete construction zone and temporary trailers with not a lot of bathrooms available for staff or the students. It is definitely an experience to build character for any students that attend right now. Has definitely changed over the years.

Gloucester High School isn't a terrible school, but it's overcrowded and underfunded. Their arts program isn't bad though.

GHS is a school riddled with problems. Many teachers aren't sufficiently knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. Teachers are often rude and defensive when questioned. The administration is weak, disengaged and inept. There are no standard procedures for instruction, or the assignment and grading...

I want to love this high school. We went out of our way to move to this district, but some of the staff are not helpful. Complaints are swept under the rug. Counselors don't listen to the parents or students at all, at least the one assigned to us. Some students are given preferential treatment. Whe...
