The best part about Gretna High School were the teachers. The teachers support all the students and push them all to be the best. The worst part if any would probably be the low amount of elective classes to choose from. In my opinion I wouldn't change anything.

The school is definitely up there in academics but I also completely lacks in student culture and spirit. We have no pep rallies, no events, no incentive to be involved. We aren't allowed to have posters up and we aren't allowed to make announcements. The school feels like a prison because of that. When you imagine a high school, you imagine television shows with colors and posters and life. Ours is the complete opposite.

Gretna High School is a really good school and has a lot of teachers that truly care about their students. I wouldn't change anything.

AR is a pain in my neck but I make up the misery with marching and concert band. It's the reason I'm smart, and the reason I come to this school in the first place. Wish I could drive though. Wish my bus didn't pick me up at four...:D

Students are strongly encouraged to join extracurricular activities and clubs. I wish there was a school orchestra and greater number of club options, besides...

We were very impressed with the leadership, teaching ability and overall involvement of the community for the high school. Our children had an opportunity to be involved in activities that they would have never been involved in in a larger district. Counselors, teachers and principals were very thor...
