Let's start by saying my child's kindergarten teacher spoke Ebonics. She also played favorites. For instance when it came time to announce the awards she would only say all the awards given to black or mexican kids and announced one if any for the white kids. My child was AR, Star reader, and honor roll all year, she didn't say anything about that. Over all, the staff seem nice but the school is unorganized. They do lack safety when it comes to letting kids just go with whomever. On Field day the teachers were letting the kids run everything and Not watching the kids. The playground is horrible.. no shade and the ground has no grass its all clay. All of my kids clothes were impossible to clean. AND I don't understand the mind set for however set up the zoneing. It's way over populated there. 26/1 not what it says here 19/1. They should make it easy... kids north of three rivers rd needs to go to River Oaks and kids south of there rivers go to there rivers Elementary.
